Our Vision

 We are living in the days when men seem powerless against sin. The power to resist sin comes from the presence of the Lord and the doing of His words. This is important because our Lord Jesus Christ died so that we may have life and that more abundantly. The way has been made for us to draw near to the Father and obtain salvation, healing, and the deliverance that God has promised to those who draw near to Him. One of the reasons for this epidemic in the body of Christ is the lack of prayer and commitment to the study of God’s word and fellowship in his presence. The Refiner’s House focuses on the growth and maturity of the individual believer and uncovers the opportunity for necessary change. This process involves the putting away of the old man and his deeds and embracing the new man which is adorned in righteousness. (Galatians 5:16) Walk in the spirit that you may not fulfill the lust of the flesh. If a clear distinction is made between the flesh and the spirit, the individual may be able to pursue God rather than his fleshly desires which will keep him separated from God and His promises.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible, future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought church that it may be with Him forever. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation. We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and that it provides healing of the human body in answer to believing in prayer. We believe that, according to Acts 2:4, the baptism with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is given to Believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian enables them to live a holy life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ and observance of the Lord’s Supper. ​We believe in the whole Bible, and we accept the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will and word of God.
